SECTION 16. ,IMPOUNDINGANDTOWING OFVEH1CLESA,NDCHARGES. <br />Any vehicle parked in violqtiQn of Sections. 2, 5,6, 7, '8 and 12 of this Ordinance, or <br />otherwise obstructing traffic, is hereby cJedaredto bea traffic safetyhozard and nuisance <br />and the same may be summarily abated by removingondtowing away such vehicle by <br />or under the direction or at the request of the Village police tO$vch a place as he shall <br />direct-Within 14 days of 'such impounding , the Chiefof.Pollce shall maHwritten <br />notice thereof -to the owner at his laSt known address according to the vehicle regis- <br />tration~ecords of the Secretary of State . Before the owner 01' his agent shall be per- <br />mitted to remove the vehicle from the custody of,the peAicy,1-e shall fumishsatisfactory <br />evidence of identity and ownership of the, vehicle; pay all reasonable charges for the <br />towing and storage of SQid vehicle and signa written receipt for said vehicle. . <br /> <br /> <br />SECTION 17.
