OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNEWTA <br /> <br />m ORDINANCE POOHIBITING mE SlORING OF JUNKED <br />VEHICLES ON PRIVATE PROPERTY. <br /> <br />The Village Council of the Village of New Brighton does hereby <br /> <br />ordain: <br /> <br />Section 1. The following is declared to be a nuisance <br /> <br />affecting the public peace, safety and general welfare. <br /> <br />Section 2. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, <br /> <br />partnership, or corporation to pile, store, or keep, wrecked, junked or <br /> <br />abandoned vehicles on private property within the Village of New Brighton <br /> <br />without a special use permit granted by the Village Council pursuant to <br /> <br />Section 4 of this ordinance. <br /> <br />Section 3. Any vehicle shall be deemed to be included in <br /> <br />Section 2 of this ordinance if said vehicle does not have attached thereto a <br /> <br />valid and current license plate issued by the proper state agency, but said <br /> <br />license plate shall not be the sele factor in determining the status of <br /> <br />said vehicle. <br /> <br />Section 4. A special use permit may be issued only in accordance <br /> <br />with the provisions of Ordinance No. 61, Section 14 and must conform to all <br /> <br />sections regarding zoning, set-backs, and special use permit procedures and <br /> <br />fees. <br /> <br />Section 5. It shall be the duty of the New Brighton Police <br /> <br />Department to investigate all complaints submitted to the Village Council <br /> <br />and if after investigation there appears to be a violation of this ordinance <br /> <br />the investigating officer shall be hereby authorized to sign a complaint. <br /> <br />Section 6. Any person, firm, partnership or corporation <br /> <br />violating any section of this ordinance shall be guilty of a mdsdemeanor <br /> <br />and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine of not IOOre than $100.00 or <br /> <br />by imprisonment in the county jail or county workhouse for not lOOre than <br />
