In this <br />teleconference participants will develop comprehensive <br />understanding of: <br />* The difference between the Boards job and the <br />Executives job. <br />* Rules by which they can avoid getting trapped in <br />trivial and immediate pressures. <br />* Ways to responsibly and safely withdraw from <br />administrative matters. <br />* Principles to design and evaluate the chief executive <br />job so executive strength; as well as Board control, <br />are preserved. <br />* A succinct anu efficient approach to uncomplicated <br />policy making. <br />The conference is split into 2 seventy-five minute segments. <br />A studio audience will be at the origination site and <br />telephone interaction comments and questions from the <br />distant sites will be welcomed. <br />The presenter is JOHN CARVER, a writer and consultant for <br />nonprofit and public boards and chief executives for 20 <br />years. He has worked with boards in over 40 states and <br />Canada.
