Delaune expressed concern that the <br /> City's image and credibili may be tarnishe by lack of visible progress, and suggested a <br /> newspaper article to clarilProles and reonsibilities. B�orted th taff was continuing to meet frequently with Medtronic <br /> staff, county cl-state r esenta es, and our financial consultants to address many issues <br /> involved in th company's proposal to establish a corporate campus on the east side of Old <br /> Highway 8. T e cy�mpany has not committed to the project, though their staff remains interested. <br /> Housing Agreement. Black reported that the terms of the housing agreement were approved by <br /> the Council on February loth <br /> Acquisitions. A map showing the status of acquisitions was enclosed. The Haines (Clinch-On) <br /> property was purchased by the City on February 19th. The most important purchases are <br /> currently the purchase and relocation of the post office and the removal of the rail spur east of <br /> Old Highway 8. <br />
