First, L Hendel as eft Kraus-Anderson for other employment. His <br /> replacement is Cynthia}labwho as pro ted. Second, the former chiropractic office space <br /> has been painted and leas ew tenant. Habel indicates that this is a short-term lease and <br /> won't hinder redevelo bi nt efforts Sn9Ikrs working out a new reorganization plan. Stang <br /> suggested that Snydei�s niay be poslitioning elf for a buyout. <br /> N <br /> Witkowsk, . .-ther there was anything the City could do to advance the process. Larson <br /> suggested t at the ption would be for the City to purchase the site or arrange for an <br /> acquisition b . ether d- eloper. Burg emphasized that nearby residents do not want a hotel to <br /> be built there. <br /> Northwest Quadrant Report <br /> Corporate User. Black reported that staff was continuing to work with Medtronic and its <br /> advisors to resolve financial, technical, and legal issues. A public announcement will apparently <br /> be delayed until most issues can be worked out. He suggested that there weren't any <br /> unresolvable problems,just that Medtronic is following its evaluation and decision-making <br /> processes. Locke added that the City presented an aggressive response,picking up an increased <br /> portion of the costs and risks after the state was unable to provide any substantial financial <br />
