Approved <br /> Schedule <br /> Black reviewed a schedule of major dates, mostly taken from the proposed housing agreements. <br /> Brighton Village <br /> Black reported that fences have been put around the site. Larson announced that demolition <br /> would start on Friday, December 16. Delaune asked if the bank property will be part of the <br /> development. Fernelius replied that is currently the understanding that of City staff. Black <br /> reported that Kraus-Anderson has not yet submitted a revised site plan. <br /> Chamber of Commerce <br /> Nustad passed out a flyer summarizing the services offered by the Chamber. Fulton inquired if <br /> the Chamber had made a decision regarding eminent domain. Nustad stated the Chamber had <br /> not taken a position, but their stance will be similar to that of the Minnesota Chamber. Fulton <br /> suggested that the Chamber has not been an effective advocate for the City of New Brighton. <br /> Nustad replied that the Chamber is making changes and hopes to be a better advocate. Kaufhold <br /> wondered if the eminent domain issue would affect the Northwest Quadrant. Black explained <br /> that there are three properties that the City still has not purchased, so depending how the state <br /> rules, it could affect the entire development. <br /> Other Business <br /> Black announced that Johnson will be stepping down from the Commission. Johnson indicated <br /> that he will miss the EDC and that he has greatly enjoyed being on the Commission. City staff <br /> and the Commissioners stated that they would miss his presence on the EDC. <br /> Fulton also announced that seats of three commissioners will be are up for appointment. These <br /> commissioners can apply for another commission or reapply to the EDC. In early January the <br /> Council will appoint commissioners and their three-year terms will start. <br /> Adjournment <br /> The meeting was adjourned at 8:44 a.m. <br />
