Lot 1 is proposed to be part <br /> of a new Applewood Pointe of New Brighton Plat(United Properties) and will remain <br /> with the applicant. "Outlot A" is being sold by United Properties to the New Brighton <br /> Office Building site developers. Outlot"A" is 11,919 square feet in area and is proposed <br /> to be conveyed and joined with the parcel to the south owned by Red Stone Home <br /> Builders at 1820 Old Highway 8 NW(former Hubcap Warehouse site). <br /> Mr. Boylan expressed concern regarding a sewer/storm water pipe that cuts across the <br /> property and is close to the proposed new office. The City is requesting that the pipe be <br /> moved and an easement be granted to the City allowing access to the infrastructure. <br /> Mr. Boylan recommending strike the two staff recommendations regarding this permit. <br /> They will be addressed with the next Public Hearing agenda item. <br /> Motion by Schiferl, Second by Mann to CLOSE THE PUBLIC HEARING. <br /> 6 Ayes, 0 Nays. MOTION CARRIED. <br /> Public Hearing: SP05-09 Special Use Permit and Site Plan Review <br /> Consideration of a special use permit and site plan review applications for a four-story <br /> building located at 1820 Old Highway 8 NW(former Hubcap Warehouse site). The <br /> applicant is proposing to construct a 4-story building that exceeds height restrictions for <br /> the MX, Mixed Use district. The bottom three floors will be offices and the top floor will <br /> be apartments. <br /> Mr. Boylan re-expressed the staffs concern regarding a sewer/storm water pipe that cuts <br /> across the property and close to the proposed new office. The City is requesting that the <br /> pipe be moved and an easement be granted to the City allowing access to the <br /> infrastructure. <br /> Greg Chaffin, Red Stone Home Builders, addressed the commission stating that their <br /> company has worked closely with United Properties and would be sharing a storm water <br /> pond.
