The notice <br /> <br />shall give at least eight days' notice of the time and place of the hearing <br /> <br />and shall state the nature of the charges against the licensee. The Council <br /> <br />may without any advance notice suspend any license pending a hearing on <br /> <br />revocation for a period of not exceeding thirty days. <br /> <br />SECTION 20. Penalty. Any person violating any provision of this <br /> <br />ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be <br /> <br />punished by a fine of not more than $100.00 or by imprisonment in the county <br /> <br />jailor county workhouse for not more than ninety days plus the costs of <br /> <br />prosecution in either case. <br /> <br />SECTION 21. Every section, provision or part of this ordinanoe is <br /> <br />declared separable from every other section, provision or part; and if any <br /> <br />section, provision or part hereof shall be held invalid, it shall not <br /> <br />affect any other section, provision or part. <br /> <br />SECTION 22. Ordinances No.7, 25. 28, 41 and 73 are hereby <br /> <br />repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION 23. Effective Date.
