Appeals. <br />Hhenever the Chief of the J;'ire Department shall disapprove an <br />application or refuse to grant a permit applied for, or when it is claimed <br />that the provisions of the code do not apply or that the true intent and :neaning <br />of the code have been tilisconstrued or wrongly interpreted, the applicant rray <br />appeal from the decision of the Chief of the Fire Department to the Village <br />Council within 30 days from the date of the decision of the appeal. <br />Section G. l~ew I-iaterials, Processes or Occupancies 1iThich ma;y <br />require permits. <br />il'hc Village Council and the Chief of the Fire Department shall act <br />as a cOlillnittee to daterlHine and specify, after giving affected persons an <br />opportunity to be heard, any new materials, processes or occupancies, which <br />shall require permits, in addition to those now enumerated in said code. The <br />Chief of the Fire Department shall post such list in a conspicuous place in his <br />office, and distribute copies thereof to interested persons. <br />Section 9. Penalties. <br /> <br />a. An:l persons, :firIil, or corporation which shall violate any <br /> <br />provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misd8'ineanor and upon <br /> <br />conviction thereof shall be punished iJY' a fine not to exceed one hundred dollars <br />or by imprisonment in the county jailor count,';' uorkhouse for not to exceed <br />ninety days. The imposition of one penalt::v for any violation shall not excuse <br />the violation or permit it to continue; and all such persons shall be required <br /> <br />to correct or renledy such violations or defects witnin a. reasona-ble tinle; and <br /> <br /> <br />when not otherwise specified, each ten days that prohibited conditions are <br /> <br /> <br />maintained sball constitute a separate offense. The application of the above <br /> <br /> <br />penalty shall not be held t.o prevent the enforced removal of prohibited <br /> <br />conditions. <br /> <br />Section 10. Repeal <br />All former ordinances or parts thereof conflicting or inconsistent <br />with the provisions of this ordinance or of the code hereby adopted are <br />hereb;;r repealed. <br />S'ection 11. Separabilit~r. <br />!~very section, provision, or part of this ordinance is declared <br /> <br />separable fror~ every other section, provision or part; and if any section, <br /> <br />provision or part hereof shall be held invalid, it shall not effect any <br />other section, provision or part. <br />
