""W....:'"' " 'v ,::,...- " ~. e \~ ~,..... ORDINANCE No.H .. VILLAGE OF NEW BRIG TON COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA AN O"RDDiANCE LICENSING THE C LLECTORS OF GARBAGE. Section 1. The word "garbage" as hereinsha11 include only organic refuse resulting from the prepara ion of food, and decayed and spoiled food from any source. The word "rubbish" as used herein hall include all inorganic refuse matter, such as tin cans, glass, p per, ashes, sweepings, etc. Section 2. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation engaged in the business of collecting gar\lage or rubbish to collect such garbage or rubbish without having first secured from the Village Council a l.icense to do 80. Any person,. firm or corporation deSiring a license to collect garbage or rubbish shall make application for the same to the Village Clerk upon a form prescribed by the Vi.llage Council. The ~PPlication shall set f~~th':(l) the name and address of the applicant; (2) a list of the equipment which he proposes to use in such collection; ~"T' "..".;,.,'",,~I~"".."""".,::'. (J) the place or places to which the garbage is to be hauled; (4) tile manner in which said garbage is to be disposed of (5) the portion of the village in which collections are to be made. Said application shall be submitted to the health officer for his investigation and report. If the health officer finds that the applicant is responsible and has proper equipment for such collection and that no nuisance is liable to be created by the granting of said license, he shall endorse his approval upon the application. Before any license may be issued, the applicant shall pay to the Village "'lerk a license fee of $25,00, which fee shall accompany the application.
