RESOLUTION NO. <br />07-032 <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSIY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />RESOL <br />MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVAL OF A PRELIMINARY AND FINAL PLAT. <br />THERE an application has been made by the City of New Brighton to be considered for a <br />Prelim ary and Final Plat for property located at the northwest corner of 5~' Ave NW and lst St <br />NW (h einafter known as Parcel 1) and 300 5th Avenue NW (hereinafter known as Pazcel 2) by <br />the Pl 'n~ Commission. <br />RE ,the procedural history of the application is as follows: <br />1. application for a Preliminary and Final Plat was received by Pioneer Engineering on <br />ehalf of the City on March 30, 2007. <br />2. ublic hearing notices for the Preliminary and Final Plat were published in the New <br />righton Bulletin on Apri14, 2007. <br />3. ublic hearing notification was distributed to all property owners within 600' of the <br />ubject property. <br />4. he Planning Commission, pursuant to published and mailed notices, held an a public <br />Baring on April 17, 2007. <br />5. he Planning Commission recommended approval to the City Council for the <br />reliminary and Final Plat on April l7, 2007. <br />6. he City Council considered the request on Apri124, 2007. <br />~ ,the Planning Commission and City Council make the following Findings of Fact with <br />c o the Preliminary Plat (PL2007-002) and Final Plat (FP2007-002): <br />1 The property is zoned I-2, Heavy Industrial. <br />2 Pazcel 1 is approximately 6.5 acres in area. <br />3 Parcel 2 is approximately 3.1 acres in area. <br />4 The property is legally described as follows: <br />Parcel l: Outlot C, BRIGHTON CORPORATE PARK III, according to the <br />recorded plat thereof, and situate in Ramsey County, Minnesota. <br />Parcel 2: Lot 2, Block 1, BRIGHTON CORPORATE PARK V, according to the <br />recorded plat thereof, and situate in Ramsey County, Minnesota. <br />5 The Planning Commission held a public hearing on the preliminary and final plat on <br />April 17, 2007 and all persons were given the opportunity to be heazd. <br />6 Section 26-33 of the City Code provides the following qualifications governing <br />approval of a preliminary plat: <br />\REPORTS\2007\Community Development\4-24.2007\PL2007-002, FP2007-002, EV2007-001 (City of New Brighton) - <br />)T7 ring 1 <br />
