Page 3 — April 10, 2007 New Brighton Council Minutes Motion by Council Member Bauman, seconded by Council Member Hoffman to waive f pe reading and adopt the attached resolution approving $685,000 as the City's proved appraisal amount for the leased fee interest for 1255 Old Highway 8 NW. Ayes - 0 Nays, Motion Carried. 2. Consideration of Amendment to Redevelopment Agreement with Dalstar, Ltd. Report No. 07 -072. Assistant Director of Community Development, David Black gave an overview of the proposed project. This amendment would allow for expansion to the south. Motion by Council Member Hoffman, seconded by Council Member Burg to approve the attached third amendment to the contract between the City and Dalstar LLC and authorize its execution. 5 Ayes - 0 Nays, Motion Carried. 3. Preliminary and Final Plat (PL2007 -001, FP2007 -001), Site Plan Review (LP2007 -001), Variance (VN2007 -001), and Nonconforming Use Permit (NC2007 -001) to permit construction of a building addition connecting the existing two industrial buildings located at 52 & 55 Mounds Avenue for Norm Wells, acting on behalf of Manfred Neidernhoefer. Report No. 07 -073. *Tatbled After discussion, council suggested the park dedication fee might be excessive for this project, and directed staff to continue to assess the park dedication fee. Motion by Council Member Burg, seconded by Council Member Hoffman to table the item until the April 24, 2007 meeting. 4 Ayes - 1 Nays, Motion Carried. Ayes: Mayor Larson, Councilmembers Nay: Councilmember Doffing 4. Right-of-way Vacation of Mounds Avenue (VA2007 -001), that portion of which is located at the intersection of Old Highway 8 NW. Report No. 07 -074. *Taubled City Attorney Charlie LeFevere suggested that it would not be appropriate to act on this item until the previous item is resolved.
