Page 5 — April 10, 2007 New Brighton Council Minutes <br />Timbercrest closing is scheduled for April 18th. The Business council will be meeting April <br />24th at 7:30 am. <br />Louncilmember Doffing reported that Kraus Anderson will be submitting a new <br />development plan at the upcoming Planning commission meeting April 17th. The joint <br />meeting with Mounds View was attended; the idea of a traffic light at Silver Lake Road and <br />County Road H was discussed. <br />Council Member Gina Bauman - Public Safety Commission <br />Councilmember Bauman attended the Public Safety Commission meeting. It was <br />determined that residents would utilize radar equipment on Riviera Drive to control <br />speeding. <br />M_ ayor Larson <br />Mayor Larson reported that the joint meeting with Mounds View addressed the issue of the <br />School Resource Officer at Irondale High School, the majority of the funding for that would <br />be generated from the Mounds View School District 621. The proposed stop light at <br />County Rd H and Silver Lake road will continue to be analyzed. Representative McCollum <br />and Senator Bachman have supported legislative initiatives that would provide <br />approximately 1.8 million dollars for the planning and scoping study for I35W. Mayor <br />Larson attended the second'' /2 of the Arden Hills/Highway 96 /TCAAP discussion. The <br />three donated wood duck houses have been placed at Hansen Park and the Family Service <br />t enter walkway. <br />diournment <br />Motion by Council Member Doffing.
