The 2007 budget incorporated adequate funding for wages <br />and insurance contributions. <br /> <br />. Explanation: <br /> <br />Duration <br />This is a one-year contract that will conclude December 31, 2007. <br /> <br />Wae:es and Insurance <br />The contract provides for a 2% cost ofliving adjustment (COLA) effective January l, 2007 and <br />another 2% wage increase on July l, 2007, resulting in a net increase of3%. The health <br />insurance contribution in 2007 is also consistent with that received by both the Patrol Officers <br />and the non union. In 2007, the employer will contribute $470 for single health insurance and <br />$660 for family health insurance. Those employees that opt-out of health coverage will receive <br />$250/month <br /> <br />Uniform Allowance <br />The uniform allowance is increased to $650 per employee, including an increase to $l50 <br />maximum for the purchase of sunglasses. <br /> <br />C-- )L <br /> <br /> <br />Dean R.
