V" I ORDINANCE NO. <t7 VILLAGE OF NEW :BRIGHTON COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA CU'RE'EW ORDINA.NCE An Ordinance regulating the presence of minors under the age of 18 years on the streets or in public places between the hours of 10:00 P. M. and 5;00 A. X the following day, defining the duties of parents and others in the care of Minors and providing for penalties for violations thereof. The Village of New :Brighton does ordain as follows: SECTION 1 It shall be unlawful for any minor under the age of 18 years to loiter, idle or be in or upon the public streets, highways, roads, alleys, porks, playgrounds or other public grounds, public places and public buildings, places of amusement, entertainment, or refreshment, vacant lots or other unsupervised places behreen the hours of 10:00 P. M. and 5:00 A. M. of the following day, official city time; provided, however, that the provisions of this section shall not apply to such minor accomIlanied by hi s or her parent, guardian or other having the care and custody of the minor-,or when the minor is upon some nece s sary errand by permi s sion or direction of his or her parent s, guardian or,other adult person having the care and_ cust ody of the minor, which said permi ssion shall be in writ ing and signed by such parent, guardian or other adult person having the care and custody of the minor. SECTION Z It shall be unlawful for the pa.rent, guard.ian or other adult having the oare and custody of a minor under the age of 18 years of age to permit sucg minor to loiter, idle or be in or upon the public streets, highways, roads, alleys, parks, playgrounds, or other public gro\mds, public places and building, places of amusement, entertainment or refreshment, vacant lots, or other unsupervised places between the hours of 10;00 P. M. and 5;00 A. M. of the following day, official city time, provided, however, that the provisions of this section shall not apply when the minor is accompanied by his or her parent, guard.lan, or other adult person having the care and custody of the minor or when the minor is upon some necessary errand by permission or direction of his or her parent, guardian or other adult person having the care and custody of the minor.
