The applicant received a Special Use Permit
approval on May 22, 2001, which was amended January 28, 2003. At that time the
Council approved the Special Use with the condition that “any future change to the plan
shall be submitted under Special Use Permit procedure and when adopted shall become
part of that plan”. Pratt Ordway Properties wishes to amend the approved Sign Plan for
the Main Street Village Project and therefore a Public Hearing is required.

Mr. Boylan went over the background and Site Plan per the Staff Planning Report for the
Commissioners. The proposed changes are contained in new section F-1 and F-2 only,
giving the description of the sign and the restrictions in Building E only.
Mrs. Ordway was available to answer questions. The Commissioners did have several
questions for her. There was no one in the audience who wished to speak to the issue.

1
I:\COMMISSIONS\PLANNING\Minutes\2004\12-21-044.doc
