She also reported on a transportation meeting with the Association of <br />Metropolitan Municipalities and some of the state legislators where they <br />discussed problems with funding for transportation. Another meeting will be held <br />th <br />March 24 at Majestic Oaks. <br /> <br />Public HearingNC05-02 / LP05-02 –Type 4 Non-conforming Use Permit and Site <br />: <br />Plan Review. <br />Consideration of proposal to add 22 detached garage units for the existing apartment <br />building at 219 Old Highway 8 SW. Mr. David Campbell, property owner with Mr. <br />David Steele, MWF Properties. Mr. Boylan gave an overview of the history of the <br />project and the three nonconformities. <br /> <br />David Steele of MWF Properties spoke to commissioners, stating the plan now has 22 <br />garages, a fire hydrant, a fire truck turn around and a new location for a trash enclosure. <br />He then asked for questions.
