i I <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION No. <br /> 07-045 <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br /> SOLUTION AWARDING THE BID FOR PROJECT 07-1, 2007 STREET <br /> CONSTRUCTIONQUADRANT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement in the New Brighton Bulletin and in the <br /> Construction Bulletin, bids for the above mentioned improvements were received, opened, <br /> d read aloud by the City Administration at 9:00 a.m., May 15, 2007, complying with the <br /> advertisement; and <br /> WHEREAS, the lowest bidder meeting bid specifications was found to be North Valley, <br /> Inc. with a total bid of $283,808.00. <br /> Now, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of New Brighton: <br /> That the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br /> contract with North Valley, Inc. in the name of the City of New Brighton for City <br /> Project 07-1, 2007 Street Reconstruction; and <br /> The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the <br /> deposits made with their bid except that the deposits of the successful low bidder and the <br /> next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br /> <br /> <br /> Adopted this 22nd day of May, 2007. <br /> <br /> <br /> Steve Larson, or <br /> <br /> ATTI ~ T: <br /> Dean R.
