Public Safetv/llomeland Securitv Director Jacobson noted the retirement of Detective Bomus, the assignment of Officer Singer to investigations, and the addition of three officers (DeDominces, Emerson, Sypniewski) to the Tactical Response Unit. Director Jacobson also handed out the year end statistics tor crime which reflects a very low number of Part One Crimes, but, an increase in Aggravated Assaults. There was discussion on the cause of crime, the prevention of crime thru code enforcement and maintenance of housing values, and multi family housing issues. Council Liaison Reoort Council Member Baumann discussed the recent Council retreat and the results of the Council meeting of April 24th. Civil Service Commission UDdate The Commissioners were updated on the last meeting to include a slight revision in the rules and regulations.
