<br /> 3 <br /> ii <br /> I! <br /> I; <br /> <br /> s ' RESOLUTION No. <br /> 07-056 <br /> 1 <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> 9 COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> f <br /> IIRESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID FOR CITY PROJECT 07-3, OLD <br /> <br /> I ~ IGHWWAY 8 NW RECONSTRUCTION <br /> d <br /> I <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement in the New Brighton Bulletin and in the Construction <br /> ulletin, bids for the above mentioned improvements were received, opened, and read aloud by the <br /> City Administration at 10:00 a.m., June 5, 2007, complying with the advertisement; and <br /> i+ <br /> j WHEREAS, the lowest bidder meeting bid specifications for City Project 07-3 was found to be <br /> North Pine Aggregate, Inc. with a total base bid and bid alternate amount of $2,735,342.56. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of New Brighton: <br /> 1. That the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract <br /> s with North Pine Aggregate, Inc. in the name of the City of New Brighton for City Project 07-3, <br /> Old Highway 8 NW Reconstruction according to plans and specifications therefore approved by <br /> the Council and on file at the Office of the City Engineer. <br /> ~S <br /> 1 The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits <br /> made with their bid except that the deposits of the successful low bidder and the next lowest <br /> bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br /> 13. This project shall be funded from a combination of funding sources including a Mn/DOT grant, <br /> t EPA grants, Municipal State Aid funds, Ramsey County Cooperative Agreement funds, City <br /> Utility funds, and T1F Bond proceeds as outlined in the Feasibility Report. <br /> R? ~ <br /> <br /> Adopted this 12th day of June, 2007. <br /> ~l <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Steve Larson, Mayor <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Dean R.
