.

Miscellaneous Developments
Brighton Village
Black reported that the site plan for Brighton Village will go before the Council tonight, and anticipates that it
will be approved. Kraus-Anderson plans to begin construction as soon as possible, since LA Fitness would like
their building opened by the end of the year. Delaune suggested that it would be a good PR move to meet with
LA Fitness and get potentially valuable information about how they view the City, and why they decided to
invest here. Femelius noted that staff has been meeting with Kraus-Anderson, not LA Fitness, but could request
a meeting.

Stang asked if there is any further news on the old Sinclair station. Black stated that he has not heard anything
else since last month's rumor about it possibly being purchased by another developer.

Stang inquired if Champps is remodeling the liquor store into a smoking room. Femelius replied that they
would be changing it into a gaming room, not a smoking room.

Marv's Transmission Property
Black stated that TimberCraft is working on the final purchase agreements for the building.

Ryan Companies Office/Showroom (P.O. Carrier Annex)
Black reported that site plans for the retail and annex buildings will be moving ahead with their approvals from
'e Council. Kaufhold inquired what would happen to the building if the post office does not move into it.
ack replied that the City has an agreement with Ryan Companies to purchase the site, and Ryan would have
the opportunity to find another tenant.

Dalco Enterprises Expansion
Black reported that Ryan Companies will be constructing both the carrier annex and a warehouse addition for
I
Daleo, which is hoping to open in mid-September. Kaufhold asked ifthere are any contaminated soils in that
area. Black replied that there are some capped contaminates that were authorized for commercial use, however
the addition will not be built in that area. Benke inquired what the east side of building would look like.
Femelius replied that it would match the facade of the existing building.

Chamber
Witkowski announced that the Chamber will be discontinuing its gaming operation at Jake's. Over the life of the
operation the Chamber has been able to donate $1.1 million to the local community. The last of the funding
will be distributed by fall.

The Chamber will be hosting a golf outing on June 15t at Majestic Oaks. They are expecting 150 to 160 golfers
to attend. Golf will begin at 11 :30 with a dinner to follow.

Business Council
Black reported that the last Business Council meeting went well. Ted Stark of Daleo Enterprises made a
Eesentation which generated a lot of good questions. Black added that the next meeting will continue with the
e fonnat and additional businesses will be invited. Kaufhold congratulated Black on a good job with the
usiness Council, especially since so few communities have anything similar. Delaune suggested that the
chosen company be also featured in the City newsletter or website.

Page 4 of5
