Mr. Al Perez, member of the EQC made a EEC Presentation <br />presentation regarding possible alternatives Garbage Collection <br />to garbage collection and recycling within <br />the City of New Brighton. <br />Motion by Senden, seconded by Blomquist directing <br />the EQC to submit a report on garbage collection <br />and recycling, making findings of fact and attaching <br />the necessary documents for City Council consideration. <br />5 ayes 0 nayes motion carried <br />Mr. Gordon Edlund, 2501st Street NW, Comprehensive Plan <br />was present to answer questions. Consistency - Edlund <br />-Report No. 79-421 <br />Motion by Senden, seconded by Janecek <br />to find the proposed construction of a <br />12' x 12' porch consistent with the proposed _ <br />New Brighton Comprehensive Plan. <br />3 ayes- 0 nayes (Councilman Blomquist and Councilman Werdouschegg <br />were out of the room) <br />Motion by Senden, seconded by Blomquist Comprehensive Plan <br />to find the construction of a single Consistency - Fossur. <br />family dwelling by. Myron Fossum consistent Report No. 79-423 <br />with the proposed New Brighton Comprehensive Plan. <br />4 ayes - 1 naye (Werdouschegg) - motion carried <br />Mr. Dave Strafelda and Mr. John Murlowski :_c;uipment <br />were present to answer questions. Refinishing LP-90 <br />Report No. 79-430 <br />Motion by Janecek, seconded by Blomquist <br />to authorize administrative authority to <br />issue building permit for Highway Equipment <br />Refinishing, 309 Old Highway #8, subject to <br />site plans being revised to denote type of <br />plantings on the berm specified and approved <br />by the Community Development Department and <br />subject to conformance.with site and landscape <br />plans dated June 26, 1979, signed by the applicant <br />and City Planner and subject to the necessary minor <br />subdivision being completed. <br />4 ayes - 1 naye (Werdouschegg) - motion carried <br />Motion by Blomquist, seconded by Werdouschegg Minor Subdivision <br />to waive the reading and adopt A RESOLUTION Report No. 79-429 <br />SUBDIVIDING CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY RESOLUTION NO. 2217 <br />OF NEW BRIGHTON (Generally east of old Highway <br />#8, north of Bell Lumber and Pole Company and <br />_ south of Delaria Transfer Inc.) <br />5 ayes - U nayes - motion carried <br />Mr. Elton Dahlke, applicant) was present LP-92 <br />to answer questions. Dahlke Trailer Sales <br />Report No. 79-425 <br />Motion by Senden, seconded by Janecek to <br />authorize administrative authority to issue <br />building permit to Dahlke Trailer Sales, LP-92, <br />subject to site and landscape plans submitted <br />dated June 26, 1979, signed by the applicant <br />and the City Planner. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br />- 5-
