August 16 1979 <br />City of New Brighton <br />Improvement 77-7 <br />Location: <br />Hipps.View Point Addition, north of 16A Street NW and <br />east of 14th Avenue NW. <br />The Director of Public Works explained that Improvement No. 77-7 <br />the project consisted of road grading, 8:17 - 8:21 <br />the installation of sanitary sewer, watermain <br />and storm.sewer and the construction of <br />concrete curbing and bituminous surfacing <br />and that the assessment was proposed to be assessed <br />on a per lot basis and that the amount proposed to <br />be assessed was $29,610.29. <br />No one appeared at the hearing. <br />Motion by Janecek, seconded by Blomquist Close Hearing <br />to close that portion of the hearing pertaining <br />to Improvement 77-7. <br />Motion by Janecek, seconded by Benke to find RESOLUTION NO. 2239 <br />that each property assessed for Improvement <br />77-7 had its market value increased by at least <br />the amount of the assessment and to waive the <br />reading and adopt a resolution entitled RESOLUTION <br />ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON HIPP'S VIEW POINT UTILITIES <br />AND STREET, PROJECT NO. 77-7 as proposed. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br />Improvement 77-8 <br />Storm sewer on County Road Old Highway #8. <br />The Director of Public Works explained Improvement 77-8 <br />that City Costs for this project amounted 8:22 - 8:24 <br />to only $173.69 which would not be feasible <br />to assess and proposed that such costs be <br />funded by a transfer from the "Closed <br />Permanent Issue Bond Account". <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Bl'omquist RESOLUTION NO. 2240 <br />to waive.the reading and adopt a resolution <br />entitled RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING FUNDS TO <br />OLD HIGHWAY #8 STORM SEWER PROJECT AND <br />CLOSING PROJECT ACCOUNT. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br />Improvement 78-1 <br />Location: <br />Brentwood Hills Second Addition south of 3rd Street NW <br />and east of Silver Lake Road. <br />-4- <br />
