August 28, 1979 <br />City of New Brighton <br />Motion by Werdouschegg, seconded by Benke to waive <br />the reading and adopt a resolution entitled RESOLUTION <br />MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING APPLICATION <br />FOR VARIANCE VN-208 amending under the "BE IT FURTHER <br />RESOLVED: item #4 to read: <br />4. that the variance shall expire on July 1, 1981; <br />the parking area shall be landscaped as required <br />by the approved site plan for LP-68 and shall be <br />completed within ninety (90) days there from <br />(July 1, 1981) <br />Motion by Senden, seconded by Benke to amend the resolution <br />under the "BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED #3 to read: <br />3. that the parking area be of a dustless surface. <br />Vote on amendment. <br />3 ayes - 2 nayes (Janecek, Werdouschegg) - motion carried <br />Vote on main motion as amended. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br />Mr. Mark Murlowski and John Murlowski <br />applicants, were present to answer questions. <br />Mrs. Donna Bernhagen, adjacent property <br />owner was present to speak in favor of the <br />variance request and voiced a concern over <br />the existing parking situation. <br />Motion by Senden, seconded by Janecek to <br />close the.hearing. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br />VN-209 <br />Minor. Subdivision <br />Belair Builders <br />Report No. 79-466 <br />RESOLUTION N0 2236 A <br />8:08.- 9:10 <br />After considerable discussion the Council acted <br />in the following manner: <br />Motion by Senden, seconded by Janecek to waive the <br />reading and adopt A RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF.. <br />FACT AND APPROVING APPLICATION FOR VARIANCE VN-209 <br />and amend under "BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED" item #3 <br />to read: <br />3. that the applicant provide signing in the <br />front yard of parcel A to indicate short <br />term customer parking only and to indicate <br />the availability of parking in the rear <br />of the building and that the applicant make <br />parking spaces available in the fenced in <br />area of the site. <br />and to add the following conditions: <br />4. that.the applicant provide an agreement that <br />the building on parcel B, if sold, would be <br />restricted to a.use similar to the existing use. <br />5. that areas not used for parking be landscaped, <br />6 that driving areas be curbed and landscaped <br />in those areas where it does not interfere with <br />parking and driveways. <br />-3
