I <br /> <br />1 <br />COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS <br />'CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />Pursuant to notice thereof, a regular meeting of the New Brighton City <br />Council was held Tuesday, November 28, 1978 at 7:30 p.m. in the <br />municipal building, 803 5th Avenue N.W., New Brighton, Minnesota. <br />Present: Mayor James Senden, Councilmembers Bob Benke, <br />Roger Blomquist, Jeanette Ja necek, Fritz Werdouschegg <br />Absent: None <br />Also Present: Vernon C. Pederson, City Manager/Clerk; <br />Les Proper, Director of Public Works; <br />James F. Winkels, Director of Community Development; <br />Donald L. Lais City Attorney. <br />Minutes <br />Motion by Werdouschegg, seconded by Janecek to <br />amend the minutes of November 14, page 2 <br />last motion on the page .. Motion by Blomquist, <br />seconded by Benke to read: <br />"Motion by Blomquist, seconded by Benke to direct <br />the staff to contact Windsor Green Association to <br />request them for applying for a PRD to include an <br />amendment of their existing PRDs to allow for <br />administrative handling of similar requests in the <br />future and to waive reading the resolution to <br />and to approve the minutes as amended. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes- carried <br />Consent Agenda <br />Motion by Blomquist, seconded by Janecek to remove <br />Item 4, Preliminary plans for construction of a new <br />bridge on Long Lake Road over Rice Creek, Report No. 78-280 <br />from the consent agenda and place it at the end of the <br />agenda. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes- carried <br />Motion by Werdouschegg, seconded by Janecek to remove <br />Item 2, Assessment Division 53806 from the consent <br />agenda and place it at the end of the agenda and approve licenses for <br />Gallati Excavating Excavating <br />Horizon Construction General <br />Laurence Pauly General <br />To set date and time of hearings for December 12: <br />VN-196 Perron 7:35 <br />VN-198 Breen - 7:40 <br />Approve consolidated fund vouchers 28,908 thru 28,923 and <br />52,401 thru 52,518 <br />Approve Liquor fund vouchers 10,525 thru 10,568 <br />Public <br />Hearings <br />Dec 12 <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes- carried
