Council proceedings <br />city of New Brighton <br />Feb. 13, 1979 <br />5 <br />Council Business - Trapping «*` <br />Beverly zierman, 560 Redwood Lane, and others Ord. <br />were present to discuss the trapping ordinance. Rpt 79-325 <br />Motion by Senden, seconded by Werdouschegg to <br />waive reading the ordinance and to hold first <br />reading of AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE USE OF 1st reading <br />CERTAIN TRAPS WITHIN THE CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON Ordinance <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes- carried <br />Mayor Senden directed, with consent of the council, <br />that letters regarding this ordinance be received. lks <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Werdouschegg to Sidewalks <br />direct staff to prepare a resolution regarding Rpt 79-327 <br />sidewalks on Silver Lake Road - Freeway I-694. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes- carried <br /> <br />Dan Lawrence and Steve Thompson, representing <br />the-Citizen?'-s Study -Committee reviewed their <br />stuff on_Fire_Station.-- - - -- ------- - -- - - ---- Fire Station <br />Motion by Senden; seconded by Benke to accept the <br />report and refer to the staff and fire department <br />for study and comment and also to refer it back <br />to the Citizen's Study Committee for further study. <br />Motion by Benke to amend the motion to follow <br />the committee's recommendation that the necessary <br />professionals be hired to provide a solid estimate of the <br />cost of remodeling the existing hall. <br />Motion died for lack of a second <br />O1ote on original motion 5 ayes - 0 nayes- carried <br />Motion by Senden, seconded by Janecek to waive <br />reading the resolution and adopt RESOLUTION OF <br />PARTICIPATION IN MINNESOTA CITIES WEEK. <br />5 ayes- 0 nayes- carried <br /> <br />Motion by Senden, seconded by Werdouschegg to <br />waive reading the resolution and adopt A RESOLUTION <br />ESTABLISHING INDUSTRIAL/COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT REVENUE <br />BOND A14D TAX-EXEMPT MORTGAGE FINANCING POLICIES with <br />the recommended changes by the City Manager. <br />Motion by Blomquist, seconded by Janecek to amend <br />the motion to include in the changes page 2, <br />Item #5: All projects shall exceed five hundred <br />thousand dollars ($500,000.00) in cost unless waived <br />by resolution of the council." <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - carried - carried <br />Vote on main motion 5 ayes - 0 nayes <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. 2167 <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. 2168
