Council Proceedings-_ 10 <br />City of New Brighton <br />March 22, 1977 <br />Motion by Hardt, seconded by Senden to waive reading of RESOLUTION <br />resolution and to adopt resolution entitled RESOLUTION NO. 1864 <br />AMENDING 1977-1981 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN (Resolution 1825) <br />5 ayes- 0 nayes- carried <br />Mayor Bromander directed with consent of the Council, that Topographic & <br />administrative report and recommendations re: topographic Mapping work <br />and mapping work be received and placed in the minutes <br />Motion by Fisher, seconded by Hardt to authorize administrative <br />authority to issue purchase order for topographic and mapping <br />work to Mark Hurd Aerial in the amount of $1,680.00 <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes- carried <br />Mayor Bromander directed, with consent of the Council, that <br />administrative report dated March 14, 1977 Re: CETA funding <br />be received and placed in the minutes <br />CETA Funding <br />Motion by Werdouschegg, seconded by Hardt to waive reading <br />of resolution and to adopt resolution entitles RESOLUTION <br />AMENDING 1977 NEW BRIGHTON OPERATING BUDGET TO PROVIDE RESOLUTION <br />FOR CETA EMPLOYEES NO. 1865 <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes- carried <br />Councilman Fisher reviewed the purpose of his placing <br />this item on the agenda. His prime concern was that in the Street lights <br />past the City had not placed lights where needed if objected <br />to by property owners where the lights would be located. <br />Motion by Werdouschegg, seconded by Hardt to institute Council policy <br />that all intersections within the City should be lit. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes- carried <br />Councilman Fisher stated his concern with vandalism and theft within <br />the community. <br />Motion by Fisher, seconded by Senden to direct administration <br />to prepare a report regarding possibility of a public information media <br />campaign regarding vandalism in the community as well as <br />other alternative ways of dealing with Vandalism <br />the problem Study <br />5 ayes- 0 nayes- carried <br />Motion by Hardt, seconded by Senden to waive reading of <br />resolution and to adopt resolution entitled RESOLUTION SUBDIVIDING <br />CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON _(Generally north <br />and west of County Road E and east of 12th Avenue NW (Roberts)RESOLUTION <br />NO. 1866 <br />
