JOSEPH
1917-1966
Re: Public Hearing For Falcon Oil Company's
Variance Request, VN -169 and NC -15
Presently, a public hearing regarding Falcon Oil
Company's request for a variance to erect a canopy at its
service station is scheduled for Tuesday, March 29, 1977.
Due to Falcon Oil Company's present financial status we are
unable to provide the necessary funds for a relocation of
the gasoline pump islands. Therefore, we do not believe it
is in our best interests to pursue this matter further at this
time. However, if the financial loss to Falcon Oil Company, due
to our ability to effectively compete with the.SuperAmerica
station adjacent to us,.becomes so damaging that we are faced
with cessation of business at that location, it may become
necessary to reassert our variance request. For these reasons
we request that you indefinitely postpone any action on our
request.
MLS/lmb
CC: Rick Ahlberg
Very truly yours,
MASLON KAPLAN
BRAND & McNI
By
now
