COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />Pursuant to due call and published notice thereof, a regular meeting of <br />the New Brighton City Council was held at 8 p.m., Tuesday, Nov.23, 1976, <br />in the Municipal Building Council Chambers, 803 5th Avenue NW, New <br />Brighton, Minnesota <br />Present: Mayor Gayle C. Bromander, Councilmen Gene Fisher, Paul Hardt <br />Jim Senden <br />Also <br />Present: Thomas F. Lewcock, City Manager; James J. Kleinschmidt, <br />Director of Public Works; Vernon C. Pederson, Clerk -Treasurer <br />Minutes <br />Motion by Hardt, seconded by Senden to approve minutes Minutes <br />of regular meeting of Nov. 9, 1976 <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes- carried <br />Unfinished Business <br />Mayor Bromander deferred action on appointment Defer <br />to HRA to fill term to expire October, 1979. Appointment <br />HRA <br />Councilman Werdouschegg arrived, 8:12 <br />New Business <br />Richard Peterson was present to respond to questions <br />regarding VN -165 and the subdivision of his property. <br />Councilman Fisher and Councilman Hardt both expressed concern <br />as to the proposed location of the house on the newly <br />subdivided lot and stated that it would appear preferable <br />to place the home in such a fashion as to be in alignment with <br />the existing home on the property. Both councilmen noted <br />this would require a change in the proposed subdivision. <br />Motion by Hardt, seconded by Fisher to defer action on VN -165 <br />VN -165 and the subdivision to the December 14th Council <br />meeting and to request the applicant to provide a revised Defer to <br />certificate of survey showing the lot subdivided in such Dec. 14 <br />a way as to allow alignment of the existing and proposed <br />houses and to show the propo-4ed house location on such survey <br />and to amend the proposed resolution regarding VN -165 by <br />deleting Item 2a under BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes- carried <br />Public Hearings <br />Attorney stated hearing was properly called. Liq. Lic. <br />Motion by Werdouschegg, seconded by Hardt to receive Stockmans <br />administrative report re: application for liquor license Steak <br />John J. Welsch Co, dated Nov. 15, 1976. House <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes- carried <br />The.City Manager reviewed the license application 8:23 to <br />information. 9.05 <br />
