Council Proceedings 2 <br />City of New Brighton ~`, <br />Dec. 14, 1976 <br />5, Amend Section 245:30 providing for the Council or <br />Planning Commission to establish task forces. <br />Motion by Bromander to amend the proposed ordinance by <br />adding a paragraph that current Planning Commission <br />members shall serve out their terms <br />Motion failed for lack of a second <br />Vote on main motion <br />4 ayes- 1 nave (Senden) - carried <br />Motion by Werdouschegg, seconded by Hardt to receive <br />administrative report dated Dec. 9, 1976 re: Gillman VN-162 <br />Sign Plan <br />5 ayes- 0 naves- carried RESOLUTION <br />Motion by Bromander, seconded by Fisher to amend NO. 1815 <br />resolution entitled RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT <br />AND APPROVING APPLICATION FOR VN-162 by amending <br />'Item 1, under the third BE IT RESOLVED: that six (6) wall <br />directories are permitted, two (2) for each building <br />entrance and to waive reading and adopt resolution <br />as amended <br />Motion by Fisher, seconded by Hardt to amend the <br />resolution in the 4th BE IT RESOLVED by adding an <br />Item No. 7, to read "That amortization of presently <br />existing signing is equitable and appropriate and will <br />be accomplished by this plan." <br />5 ayes- 0 naves -carried <br />Vote on motion as amended <br />5 ayes - 0 naves - carried ggA <br /> Appointment <br />The Mayor deferred action on an appointment to HRA Deferred <br />to fill term to expire October 1979 <br />Motion by Hardt, seconded by Senden to receive <br />administrative report re: offensive trades licenses <br />5 ayes- 0 naves- carried <br />Gerald Letters, manager of Gordon Rendering, stated that <br />he would ask the Council to change the provision of <br />Item No. 1 under the first BE IT RESOLVED to permit <br />doors to be open during truck unloading and to change <br />Item 2 (e) under the first BE IT RESOLVED by adding <br />"for justifiable reasons." <br />Motion by Hardt, seconded by Werdouschegg to waive reading and <br />adopt resolution entitled RESOLUTION GRANTING MENGELKOCH <br />COMPANY AN OFFENSIVE TRADES LICENSE AND AFFIXING <br />CERTAIN CONDITIONS OF OPERATION <br />Motion by Werdouschegg, seconded by Fisher to amend <br />first BE IT RESOLVED, Item No. 2 (b) by eliminating the <br />notice time and to amend first BE IT RESOLVED, Item 2 (f} <br />
