He presented the Council
with two alternate layouts for a garage to be
constructed on his property along with a survey.
Motion by Fisher, seconded by Hardt to receive
alternate layouts and survey.
5 ayes - 0 nayes- carried
Mr. Dexter explained the alternates he was proposing.
Councilman Werdouschegg asked why the garage was shown
to be recessed.
Dexter stated it was so that the gas meter on the home
could be outside of the garage.
Motion by Fisher, seconded by Werdouschegg to waive
reading of resolution and to adopt resolution entitled
RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING A 2.3 FOOT
SIDEYARD SETBACK VARIANCE, such resolution to include the
following findings of fact:
1. That undue hardship exists because a two-car
garage would be precluded because of a 2.3 foot
intrusion into the setback area;
2. Unique circumstances applying to the property
Minutes
VN-163
Dexter
RESOLUTION
NO. ~-9-7~'
t~9~-
exists because:.
a. The house was to a small degree misplaced on the site;
b. Placement of a garage in the rear of the property
would create drainage and grade problems;
c. The proposed garage being recessed modifies the impact
of the variance on site distance at the intersection;
