The Army has approved up to $25,000 as listed in the 2006 report of the <br />annual meeting between the City and the Army. <br />Explanation: The purpose of this item is to obtain Council authorization to approve final <br />payment for this completed work. Supernatant pumps are critical pieces of equipment in the <br />water plant that control the backwash operations. Backwashing removes the suspended solids <br />from the iron and manganese filters.
