<br />~.'" <br /> <br />. <br />-.rt:'':':' <br /> <br />-I <br />.;...011'" <br /> <br />. <br />'" <br /> <br />NOTICE TO DOG OWNERS <br />OF fLL DOGS FOUND IN VILLAGE OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />High points of new Dog Ordinance which will be <br />strickly enforced from and after August 1, 1954, <br />by Village of New Brighton <br /> <br />1. All dogs must be licensed. <br /> <br />2. Annual License Fees: $ ~ 00 for a male or spayed <br />female dog, and $ !i,a 0 for an unspayed female dog. <br />The license period shall be yearly from April 1 to March <br />30th of the following year. <br /> <br />3. Obtain licenses from Village Clerk before effective <br />date and before April 1st of each year thereafter. <br /> <br />4. License tags must be affixed to dogs at all times. <br /> <br />5. No dog, whether licensed or not, shall run at large in <br />the Village. <br /> <br />6. "At large" means off the premises of the dog owner and <br />not under control of the owner or his agent, by leash <br />or otherwise. <br /> <br />7. No person shall keep a dog which habitually barks or cries. <br /> <br />8. Unlicensed dogs and dogs running at large will be im- <br />pounded and released to owners only after payment of a <br />$3.00 impounding fee and a $1.OO a day feeding fee and <br />a license is secured for unlicensed dogs. <br /> <br />9. When a -dog which has been impounded is unclaimed after <br />4 days posted notice, it will be disposed of by the <br />poundmaster. <br /> <br />10. It is unlawful to interefere with any officer enforcing <br />this ordinance. <br /> <br />11. Atmiximum. penalty 6fa~$lOe~OO'fine or 90 days in jail is <br />provided for any person violating the ordinance. <br /> <br />NEW BRIGHTON VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />
