<br />-1\ <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />,. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF ORDINANCE NO. 5 <br />VILLAGE OF NEW BRIGHTON, RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: Tha t <br /> <br />WHEREAS the Village Council of the Village of New Brighton, <br /> <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota, on the 2nd day of March, A.D. 1943, passed <br /> <br />and adopted Ordinance No. 5 entitled: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE GRANTING PERMISSION TO NORTHERN STATES <br />POWER COMPANY, ITS~SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS, TO ERECT, <br />ENLARGE, OPERATE AND MAINTAIN, IN THE VILLAGE OF NEW <br />BRIGHTON, MINNESOTA, TRANSMISSION LINES AND ELECTRIC <br />DISTRIBUTING SYSTEM, INCLUDING NECESSARY POLE LINES, <br />MASTS, WIRES AND FIXTURES, FOR THE FURNISHING OF <br />ELECTRIC ENERGY TO THE VILLAGE AND ITS INHABITANTS, <br />AND TRANSMITTING ELECTRIC ENERGY INTO AND THROUGH THE <br />VILLAGE, AND TO USE THE STREETS, ALLEYS AND PUBLIC <br />GROUNDS OF SAID VILLAGE FOR SUCH PURPOSES;" <br /> <br />which Ordinance was duly published according to law on the 11th day <br />of March, 1943, in the Ramsey County News, a newspaper printed and <br />published in the Village of New Brighton, Ramsey County, Minnesota, <br />and of general circulation in said Village of New Brighton and <br /> <br />County of Ramsey and state of Minnesota; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the NORTHERN STATES POWER COMPANY, a <br /> <br />Minnesota corporation, for itself and its successors and assigns, <br />does hereby accept all the terms and conditions of said Ordinance. <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF the Northern states Power Company has <br />caused these presents to be executed in its corporate name by its <br />proper officers thereunto duly authorized and its corporate seal <br />to be hereto affixed this 23rd day of March, A.D. 1943. <br /> <br />In Presence of: NORTHERN STATES POWER COMPANY, <br /> <br />~..,:...A~I-~ By ~~~ .. ..- <br />/fy~ z AndViC~'???n v~ala..~: <br />~"--C.. -7- C7'A~ry <br /> <br />I DO HEREBY CERTIFY that I am Recorder of the Village of New <br />Brighton, Ramsey County, Minnesota, and I am custodian of its records; <br />that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of that certain Accep- <br />tance by Northern states Power Company of Ordinance No. 5 of the <br />Village of New Brighton, Minnesota, as filed in my office on the <br />.1( day of March, A.D. 1943. <br /> <br />DATED this rr day of ~ <br /> <br />,. <br /> <br />, A .
