I' <br />.r <br />iI <br />Ii <br />I' <br />iI <br />j! <br />11 <br />II <br />.1 <br />I! <br />I' <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />II <br />!1 <br />'I <br /> <br />~ ' <br /> <br />~ ..... <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 04-113 <br /> <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STA TE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE 2005 NON-UNION, FULL-TIME, REGULAR PART- <br />TIME POSITIONS AND SEASONAL COMPENSA TION PLAN; AND OTHER BENEFITS <br />FOR <br />NON-UNION PERSONNEL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the compensation rates for non-union personnel must be set annually by Council <br />resolution; and <br /> <br />II WHEREAS, the new compensation plans have been reviewed and are attached to this resolution; and <br /> <br />II <br />!. <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is also proposed that the City will continue to make a contribution towards the cost of <br />employee health insurance; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that: <br /> <br />I <br />II <br />L <br />ii <br />, <br /> <br />1. The City approves the attached 2005 compensation plans for non union full-time, regular <br />part-time, and seasonal employees. <br />2. The City's cafeteria plan contribution for single health coverage will be $440 per month <br />and $620 per month for family coverage. Employees electing to opt-out of health <br />insurance coverage, by providing proof of insurability elsewhere, will be provided $200 <br />per month to be used for other benefits associated with the cafeteria plan. <br />3. The City shall provide either an individual or family membership at the Family Service <br />Center for interested full-time and regular part-time employees, fire department <br />members, and city council members. subject to the employee paying all related <br />associated income taxes. <br />4. The City Manager, as designated by the City Council on this day, shall be authorized to <br />make various expenditures relating to employee recognition programs that are deemed to <br />serve a public purpose for the benefit of the City. <br />5.
