J i i i , i i I RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CONT AMINA TION INVESTIGATION I AND RAP DEVELOPMENT GRANT APPLICATION TO BE SUBMITTED TO THE i DEPARTMENT OF EMPLOYMENT AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT (DEED) I ON NOVEMBER 1, 2004 FOR THE NORTHWEST QUADRANT -INITIAL PHASE, : RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT SITE i J i ! BE IT RESOLVED that the City of New Brighton (hereinafter "City") act as I the legal sponsor for the project contained in the Contamination Cleanup Grant lProgram to be submitted on November 1, 2004 and that the Mayor and the City i Manager are hereby authorized to apply to DEED for funding of this project on behalf I of the City. RESOLUTION No. 04-090 STAlE OF MINNESOTA COUNTY OF RAMSEY CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON i BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City has the legal authority to apply I for financial assistance, and the institutional, managerial, and financial capability to I ensure adequate project administration. I BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sources and amounts of the local I match identified in the application are committed to the project identified. I ) I BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City has not violated any Federal, State or local laws pertaining to fraud, bribery, graft, kickback, collusion, conflict of I interest or other unlawful or corrupt practice. i i j BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon approval of its application by the ! State, the City may enter into an agreement with the State of Minnesota for the above- i referenced project, and that the City certifies that it will comply with all applicable i laws and regulation as stated in all contract agreements. i NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City i of New Brighton, Minnesota as follows: that the Mayor and the City Manager are i hereby authorized to execute such agreements as are necessary to implement the I project on behalf of the applicant. !
