<br /> 1( <br /> <br /> ~f <br /> s~ <br /> °.i <br /> a f <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> 07-124 <br /> s CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RE LUTION ESTABLISHING THE 2008 NON-UNION, FULL-TIME, REGULAR PART- <br /> TIME OSITIONS AND SEASONAL COMPENSATION PLAN; AND OTHER BENEFITS FOR <br /> NON-UNION PERSONNEL <br /> WHERE AS, the compensation rates for non-union personnel must be set annually by Council resolution; <br /> and <br /> WHE AS, the new compensation plans have been reviewed and are attached to this resolution; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is also proposed that the City will continue to make a contribution towards the cost of <br /> emplo a health insurance; and <br /> <br /> NOW, JHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that: <br /> <br /> 1. The City approves the attached 2008 compensation plans for non union full-time, regular part- <br /> time, and seasonal employees. <br /> 2. The City's contribution for single health coverage will be $500 per month and $700 per month for <br /> family coverage. Employees electing to opt-out of health insurance coverage, by providing proof <br /> f insurability elsewhere, will be provided $265 per month and may be used for other benefits <br /> associated with the cafeteria plan. The City will also contribute 50% of the deductible for <br /> employees enrolled in the Health Savings Account (HSA), as well as the start-up and monthly <br /> fees associated with the Health Savings Account. <br /> 3. The City shall provide either an individual or family membership at the Family Service Center for <br /> i interested full-time and regular part-time employees, fire department members, and City Council <br /> members, subject to the employee being responsible for any income tax liability or other issues <br /> associated with membership. <br /> 4.
