SILVER LAKE FLATS
5865 Neal Ave. N. #309
Stillwater, MN 55082
763-786-5914
December 2007 Mitigation Plan Update/Report
Dec 10, 2007
Robert J. Jacobson
Director of Public Safety
City of New Brighton
803 Old Highway 8 NW
New Brighton, MN 55112
Mr. Jacobson,
As required, we are submitting this follow-up report on our properties located at 2090,
2100, 2130, 2160 County Road E in New Brighton, MN. The following is information
for your review. If you should need additional information, please do not hesitate to
contact either myself or Anthony Beasley.
Residential Screening and Conduct
We have added two residents to the property during November 2007. The new
• renters were screened, interviewed, and have signed all documents as required for all new
tenants. We also terminated the lease of one tenant and another gave notice.
We are dealing with the remaining idle vehicles on the premises in an effort to
remove snow from the parking areas and to clean up the lot.
We are aware of some problems we had with the tenants in the 2160 building, unit
202. We have put Jarvin Lee on notice that he has two "rules violations" and any other
disturbances will result in his lease termination.
Physical Improvements and Grounds Management
We continue efforts to clean both the interior and exterior of the buildings. We complete
an on-site inspection of all building grounds daily Monday through Friday.
These actions have helped to give the grounds a much "cleaner" appearance.
We are now active in the renovation of the 2090 building. We are nearing the point of
upgrading the electrical service in this building and most of the units have been prepared
for the planned remodeling.
We look forward to continuing with maintenance, repairs, and construction to improve
the properties and living conditions of our tenants.
Rod Martin
Office Operations
