December 11, 20076 <br />Commission Liaison Reports, Announcements and Updates: <br />Dean Lotter <br />Mr. Lotter reported he is in the process of organizing the 2008 Team Building retreat. A meeting is <br />scheduled with the Long Lake Homeowners Association to possibly create an additional Special <br />Taxing District. <br />Councilmember Bauman <br />The Public Safety Department has hired a new part time Public Safety Officer, Derek Livingston. The <br />next Public Safety Commission meting is scheduled for january 30, 2008. A Citizens' Police Academy <br />will be starting in mid February. Best wishes were expressed to Councilmember Hoffman. <br />Councilmember Dofg <br />The Planning Commission meeting scheduled for December 18'h has been cancelled due to lack of <br />agenda items. Best wishes were expressed to Councilmember Hoffman. <br />Councilmember Bury <br />The Parks, Recreation and Environmental Commission meeting was cancelled in December. The <br />Parks, Recreation and Environmental Commission meeting for january will be a joint meeting with <br />the Planning Commission j anuary 15, 2008. Appreciation and Best Wishes were expressed to <br />Councilmember Hoffman in her retirement. <br />Councilmember Hoffman <br />Gratitude was expressed to the Community and other Councilmember' for her 9 v years as a <br />Councilmember. <br />Mayor Larson <br />Mayor Larson gave an update from the EDC Meeting. The Town hall meeting was attended by <br />approximately 150 residents. Mayor Larson offered Councilmember Hoffinan his best wishes as she <br />retires. <br />Adjournment <br />Motion by Councilmember Hoffman, seconded by Councilmember Bauman to adjourn the meeting. <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nays, Motion Carried <br />Meeting was adjourned at 7:55 pm <br />.
