Black replied that he was not sure how much it would cost, but the City's attorney has stated <br />that AT&T may have to pay for it themselves. <br />Miscellaneous <br />Nelson inquired whether staff knows who the tenants would be for the retail site. Larson replied that the <br />City does not know. <br />Flahave asked what is going into the Rush Lake office building. Fernelius replied that it would be offices, <br />since the contractor purchased the building. <br />Benke inquired when the Hilton would be doing their groundbreaking. Fernelius replied that it would <br />take place this spring. <br />Commission Organization <br />Larson announced that he received an e-mail from a Council member suggesting that the EDC be <br />dissolved at the January Bch Council meeting, which would have to be done by ordinance. He added that <br />several Council members would like to create a Financial Planning Board to deal with the City financial <br />issues and specified putting a few members from this Commission on that board. He invited all the <br />Commission members to attend the January 8`n meeting. <br />Town Mall Meeting <br />Nelson asked how the attendance was for the Town Hall meeting. Larson replied that attendance was <br />better than last year and there were positive and negative comments for moving the meeting to a <br />Thursday. However, there were only five evaluations turned in, since there was not a sandwich coupon. <br />Black added that due to litigation Northwest Quadrant could not be discussed. Larson added that the <br />Town Hall Meeting would be moved back to the spring and plans are to hold it on April 26`n <br />Kaufhold announced that there would be a benefit for Ann Witledge, who worked for the City as a police <br />officer for ten years, on Saturday, January 5`n at 11 am. It will be held at 201 W. County Rd E2. She is <br />currently suffering from a brain tumor. <br />Adjournment <br />The meeting was adjourned at 8:12 a.m. <br />Page 4 of 4 <br />
