of lm the city that works for you COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS THE CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON Pursuant to notice thereof, a regular meeting of the New Brighton City Council was held Tuesday March 112008 at 6:31 pm in the New Brighton Council Chambers. Present: Mayor Larson, Councilmembers Burg, Doffing, Bauman and Phillips Absent: Also Present: Dean Lotter -City Manager, Schawn Johnson -Assistant to the City Manager, Grant Fernelius- Community Development, Bob Jacobson -Director of Public Safety, Grant Wyffels-Director of Public Works, Jason West -Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation, Janice Gundlach-City Planner, Katie Bruno -Office Assistant. Council Agenda Approval of March 11, 2008 Council Agenda. Motion by Councilmember Doffing, seconded by Councilmember Bauman to approve the agenda as presented. 5 Ayes - 0 Nays, Motion Carried Council Minutes 1. Council Minutes from Febnuary 26, 2008 Council meeting. Councilmember Doffing commented that the section of minutes relating to the creation of a Northwest Quadrant Financial Task Force were vague, and questioned Councilmember Burg and Mayor Larson if there were any additions they would request Councilmember Burg stated that because the item was on tonight's agenda she would make her comments then. Motion by Councilmember Doffing, seconded by Councilmember Burg to approve the minutes from the February 26, 2008 Council meeting. 4 Ayes -1 Abstention, Motion Carried Ayes: Mayor Larson, Councilmembers Doffing, Burg and Bauman Abstention: Councilmember Phillips (Due to his absence.) Commission Minutes Mayor Larson received the following minutes in behalf of the City, noting one change on the Council Agenda 1. Approval of Mairh 11, 2008 Council Agenda. Council Minutes 1.
