Report No. 08-053. <br />*Moved from Consent Agenda <br />Councilmember Bauman questioned the need for replacing three copiers <br />at this time. Schawn Johnson, Assistant o the City Manger reported that <br />the City was able to secure the best price by purchasing three. It was <br />reported the copiers are expected to last approximately seven years. <br />Motion by Coumeilrnember Phillips, seomded by Coimcihnember Burg to audiorize the purchase of <br />three Canon Copiers. <br />5 Ayes -0 Nays, Motion Carried <br />Commission Liaison Reports. Announcements and Updates: <br />Dean Lotter <br />Mr. Lotter reported Neighbodhood Meetings would be beginning Febnrary 131` the first meeting being <br />at Sunny square park Neighborhood Center Mediation with the Sergeant's Union is scheduled for <br />mid February. <br />Councilmember DoBme <br />The Clifton House will be on the upcoming Planning Canmission Agenda. These will riot be a boat <br />race on Long Lake during Stockyard days. <br />Coundlmember PbnDips <br />Counndlmenber Phillips attended the EDC meeting. Discussion was primarily on the Northwest <br />Quadrant ant the railroad wye. <br />Coune7rnember Bauman <br />Counicilmember Bauman reported the following Public Safety personnel received awards at the annual <br />Police Division meeting Detective Gary Sykes, Officer Kevin Olson, and officer Fd Sypniewsla. <br />Citizens Emergency Response Team (CERT) begins a new session April l7d'. <br />Coundlmember Buie <br />Councihnember Burg attended a Northwest Youth and Family Services Outstanding Service to Youth <br />Awards.
