Non -Commercial Opinion Signs in Commercial and Industrial Districts. <br />(1) A i iy single sign or signable area permitted on a site that is devoted to any commercial or industrial use <br />(whe t ier as a permitted use, accessory use, conditional use, or non conforming use) may be used, in lieu <br />of of -r uses permitted under this Chapter, as a non-commercial opinion sign. <br />(2) lidaddition to such sign, any permitted billboard may be used as a non-commercial opinion sign. <br />(3) n -commercial opinion signs in commercial or industrial districts on a site that is not devoted to any <br />comir ercial or industrial use (whether as a permitted use, accessory use, conditional use, or <br />none c mornimg use) shall be placed only upon approval of the property owner, shall not exceed fifteen <br />feet h height, and shall be no closer than 500 feet from an residential district line, twenty feet from a <br />rightof-way line, 150 feet from a nonresidential structure, or 500 feet from a residential structure.
