<br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE 2004 NON-UNION, FULL-TIME, REGULAR PART-TIME <br />POSITIONS AND SEASONAL COMPENSATION PLAN; AND OTHER BENEFITS FOR <br />NON-UNION PERSONNEL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the compensation rates for non-union personnel must be set annually by Council resolution; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the new compensation plans have been reviewed and are attached to this resolution; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is also proposed that the City will continue to make a contribution towards the cost of <br />employee health insurance; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />1. The City approves the attached 2004 compensation plans for non union full-time, regular part- <br />time, and seasonal employees. <br />2. The City's cafeteria plan contribution for single health coverage will be $410 per month and <br />$580 per month for family coverage. Employees electing to opt-out of health insurance <br />coverage, by providing proof of insurability elsewhere, will be provided $200 per month to be <br />used for other benefits associated with the cafeteria plan. <br />3. The City shall provide either an individual or family membership at the Family Service <br />Center for interested full-time and regular part-time employees, flIe department members, and <br />city council members, subject to the employee paying all related associated taxes. <br />4. The City Manager, as designated by the City Council on this day, shall be authorized to make <br />various expenditures relating to employee recognition programs that are deemed to serve a <br />public purpose for the benefit of the City. <br />5. Full-time exempt employees are eligible for performance pay up to 5% of their annual salary <br />in recognition of excellent performance. <br /> <br />Adopted by the City Council this 8th day of December, 2003. <br /> <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />Steve Larson, Mayor <br /> <br />Matthew S.
