<br />t. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. . 03-064 <br />ST ATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />; <br />: ( <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON PROJECT 02-1, STREET <br />RECONSTRUCTION. <br /> <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the City Council has met and <br />heard and passed the proposed assessment of the benefited lots in the area. <br /> <br />BY: The construction of storm sewer, watermain improvements, sanitary sewer improvements, and <br />street reconstruction. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton, <br />Minnesota: <br /> <br />\ , L <br />: <br /> 2. <br /> <br />The total amount to be assessed is $295,329.65. <br /> <br />Such proposed assessment, referred to as Special Assessment Number 63321000 is hereby accepted <br />and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named therein, and each tract ofland <br />therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the improvement in the amount of the <br />assessment levied against it. <br /> <br />3. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period often (10) <br />1 : years, the first installment to be payable on or after the first Monday in January 2004 and shall bear <br />interest at the rate of 4.8 percent per annum from the adoption of this assessment resolution. <br /> <br />4. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the assessment to the <br />County Auditor pay the whole of the assessment on such property with interest accrued to the date <br />of payment, to the City Treasurer, except that no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is <br />paid within 30 days from the adoption of this resolution and he may, at any time thereafter, pay the <br />County Treasurer, the balance of assessments remaining unpaid with interest accrued in accordance <br />with the statutes such in case made and provided. <br /> <br />5.
