ReportNo. 08-133. (RemovedfromAgenda.) <br />6. Televising the EDC Commission Meetings. Report No. 08-134. <br />City Manager Dean Lotter reported that he has had several requests from Council on this matte, and <br />requested direction. Councilmember Doffing stated that it is her desire for the EDC meetings to be <br />televised, one ofthe reasons being the unavailability ofresidents to attend a 7:00 am meeting. Assistant <br />Director of Community Development, David Black stated he does not see any issue with televising the <br />meetings; very few motions or recommendations are made, the meetings are primarily discussions. <br />Councilmember Burg suggested beginning the practice in June, in order to allow an opportunity to <br />inform the cunart EDC members. <br />Motion by Councilmember Dolling, seconded by Councilmember Philips to begin the procedure of <br />videotaping and television the Economic Development Commission meetings beginning June 2008. <br />4 Ayes— 0 Nays, Motion Carried <br />• <br />Staff was directed to confer with the Public Safety Commission relating to televising their monthly <br />meetings. Councilmember Doffing, as liaison agreed to do so at the next meeting. <br />7. Acceptance of Monthly Report for Silver Lake Flats (formerly Timber Crest) <br />Report No. 08-128. *Moved from Consent Agenda <br />Councilmember Burg wanted to draw attention to the positive changes occurring at Silver Lake Flats. <br />Motion by Councilmemberpoffing, seconded by Councilmember Philips to accept the Monthly <br />Report fiom Silver Lake Flats. <br />4 Ayes— 0 Nays, Motion Carried <br />Commission Liaison Reports, Announcements and Updates: <br />Dean Lotter <br />• Mr. Lotter reported the Town Hall meeting is scheduled for April 26h at the Family Service Canter. <br />The Quarterly Policy Discussion is scheduled for Tuesday, April 20 at 5:00 pm at City Hall. <br />Council reviewed the applications submitted for the Northwest Quadrant Financial Task Force and has <br />6.
