• RESOLUTION NO. <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID FOR PROJECT 08-1, INNSBRUCK NORTH <br />AREA STREET RECONSTRUCTION <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement in the New Brighton Bulletin and in the <br />Construction Bulletin, bids for the above mentioned improvements were received, opened, <br />and read aloud by the City Administration at 9:00 a.m., May 20, 2008, complying with the <br />advertisement; and <br />WHEREAS, the lowest bidder meeting bid specifications was found to be Northwest <br />Asphalt, Inc. with a total bid of $704,053.55. <br />Now, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of New Brighton: <br />1. That the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />. contract with Northwest Asphalt, Inc. in the name of the City of New Brighton for City <br />Project 08-1, Innsbruck North Area Street Reconstruction; and <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the <br />deposits made with their bid except that the deposits of the successful low bidder and the <br />next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br />Adopted this 27th day of May, 2008. <br />Steve Larson, Mayor <br />11111=19 <br />Dean R.
