WHERE IT ENTERS ONTO 3RD STREET N.W. I <br /> WHEREAS, 23rd Avenue N.W. is a newly constructed City <br /> street which enters onto 3rd Street N.W., a more heavily I <br /> traveled through street, and i <br /> WHEREAS, A stop sign is warranted where a less important <br /> road enters a main road and application of the normal right- <br /> of-way rule is unduly hazardous, and <br /> WHEREAS, It is uniform and consistent to designate 23rd <br /> Avenue N.W. a stop street as all other side streets entering <br /> 3rd Street N.W. are stop streets, and <br /> WHEREAS, Chapter 20 of the New Brighton City Code requires <br /> all stop signs to be designated by resolution of the City <br /> Counci 1 . <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br /> I City of New Brighton that a stop sign be installed on 23rd <br /> Avenue N.W. where it enters onto 3rd Street N.W. <br />I l <br />I Adopted this 13th day of November 1979.
