<br />was duly held at the City Hall in said City on Tuesday, the 8th

<br />day of May, 1979 at 7:30 o'clock P.M.

<br />Councilman Werdouschegg introduced the fol-
<br />
<br />lowing written resolution and moved its adoption:
<br />
<br />RESOLUTION TO ISSUE AND SELL $685,000
<br />TEMPORARY IMPROVE~lliNT BONDS OF 1979
<br />
<br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New
<br />Brighton, Minnesota, as follows:
<br />
<br />1. The City Council deems it necessary and expedient
<br />to issue and sell $685,000 negotiable coupon, general obligation
<br />Temporary Improvement Bonds of 1979 to provide financing in the
<br />amount of $685,000 for the costs, including contract price,
<br />incurred and to be incurred in connection with Improvements
<br />Nos. 79-2,79-3, 79-4, 79-7, 79-8, 79-9 and 79-10, consisting
<br />of opening and grading of, streets, sanitary sewers, watermains,
<br />storm sewers, concrete curb and gutter, bituminous surfacing,
<br />sidewalks, landscaping and street lighting, pursuant to the
<br />authority of Chapter 429, Minnesota Statutes. The City Council
<br />has made all necessary investigation, has held a public hearing
<br />after due notice regarding each improvement, and finds that
<br />each improvement will be a special benefit to property in the
<br />City and that special assessments may and will be levied on
<br />said property in an amount not less than 20% of the estimated
<br />cost of each improvement.

<br />e 2. The City Council will meet at City Hall on Tuesday,
<br />the 12th day of June, 1979, at 7:30 o'clock P.M., for the pur-
<br />pose of considering bids for the purchase of said Temporary
<br />Improvement Bonds of 1979 which are received by the City Clerk
<br />prior to 2:00 olclock P.M. that day.
<br />
<br />3. The terms of such bonds and of the sale thereof shall
<br />be the terms set forth in the following Official Notice of Bond
<br />Sale, which shall be furnished to all interested bidders by the
<br />City Clerk and by Evensen-Dodge, Inc., fiscal agents for the City:
