<br /> .. , <br /> r -" ,. ~ <br /> ~ <br /> RESOLUTION NO 2155 <br /> STAT~ OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT IN REGARD TO REZONING <br /> APPLICATION, R-104 <br /> WHEREAS an application for rezoning, R-104, has been <br /> made by Omega Management, Inc. to rezone property from R-2, <br /> Two Family Residential to B-1 Limited Business, and <br /> WHEREAS the procedural history of the application is as <br /> follows: <br /> a. That an application for rezoning, R-104, was filed <br /> with the City of New Brighton on November 29, 1978, <br /> such application requesting rezoning of certain <br /> property from R-2, Two Family Residential to B-1, <br /> Limited Business; <br /> b. That such application met the legal requirements for <br /> submission; <br /> c. That such application was reviewed by the New <br /> Brighton Planning Commission Board of Planning on <br /> December 7, 1978; <br /> d. That the City Council, pursuant to published and <br /> mailed notices, held a public hearing on December 27, <br /> 1978; all person's present at the hearing were given <br /> an opportunity to be heard and the written report <br /> of City staff and the Planning Commission were <br /> considered; <br /> e. That the Council held the first reading of this <br /> rezoning ordinance on December 27, 1978; <br /> f. That the Council held the second reading of the <br /> rezoning ordinance on January 9, 1979. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br /> of New Brighton, tha t the following findings of fact are <br /> made in respect to R-104: <br /> a. That the proposed rezoning from R-2, Two Family <br /> Residential to B-1, Limited Business was found <br /> consistent with the proposed Comprehensive Plan <br /> which designates this parcel as B-1, Limited <br /> Business. <br /> b. The B-1 Limited Susiness use provides an adequate <br /> transition between the commercial uses and residential <br /> uses in this are a. <br />
